Audits not completed at October 25, 1996

The Standing Committee on Public Accounts recommends an audit of every government agency every year.

This Report includes all audits completed at October 25, 1996 for fiscal periods ended December 31, 1995 or earlier. Since 1988, we have prepared our Reports without completing all audits. This practice is necessary to improve the timeliness of the information given to the Members of the Legislative Assembly.

We will report audits completed after October 25, 1996 for fiscal periods ended December 31, 1995 or earlier to the Legislative Assembly in a future Report.

We have not completed the audit of the following organizations at October 25, 1996, and we will report our findings in a future Report to the Legislative Assembly.
